Weddings by Color ¦ Dazzling Blue

If you believe in the old wedding saying, ‘Something Old, Something New, Something Borrowed, Something Blue‘, then adding that something blue into your wedding decor shouldn’t be difficult this year as the Pantone Color for 2014 is Dazzling Blue! A shade similar to navy, it’s a color that can easily be incorporated into your decor. You can expect to see it at weddings, on photo shoots and on the runway. It’s a flirty, fun and classic color.

With a palette like this one, I love seeing modern prints and patterns. I love the creative chevron design for the wedding cake! You can actually do the same for your wedding invitations too. Look at the handmade ties for your groomsmen. The floral prints make it really interesting and  unique. What do you think of this color combination? Would you use it for your upcoming wedding or party?
