Weddings by Color ¦ Hemlock

Lovely day today, dearies! Here’s something refreshing for you all! Hemlock is a color motif that reminds me of pine trees, springtime and everything cool, breezy and light. It is described as “a summery, ornamental green, that provides a decorative touch that’s very different from the greens of recent seasons.”

Weddings by Color ¦ Violet Tulip

Violet Tulip is a romantic, vintage purple. It reminds me of whimsical summer days and calming scents in the air. Here are some lovely design ideas to reflect the sweetness of Violet Tulip – A violet tulip dress theme? Gorgeous! Speaking of florals – imagine your bouquet! I am thinking lavender, orchid, or lilac!

Weddings by Color ¦ Placid Blue

Time for more color inspiration! Last post, I featured a dazzling blue color board. Today, we are looking at a different shade of blue: Placid Blue. Imagine a picture-perfect, tranquil clear sky. Do you feel that sense of peaceful calmness? Well, that is exactly what this color says to me. I think we’ll be seeing a quite a bit of this color in 2014. I just love this soft blue color. It’s such a cool, fresh and elegant hue.
