If you have a reception space with a lounge area, or a space that needs sprucing up, add in some pillows for a cozy feel.

Pom-poms are a fun (cheap!) way to give your space a dash of color. String them inside your tent, hang it from chairs, or even tucked into vases,  This look is perfect for a laid-back outdoor wedding; but it can work for more formal weddings too.

4. Add A Sprig of Herbs
You can have a little fun with your decor even if you’re having a formal wedding! Add a sprig of herbs like mint or lavender for a fragrant touch on the place settings.

5. Rent Colored Glassware
Instead of spending your entire reception decor budget into flower centerpieces, consider using part of that budget to rent colored glassware- it’ll make your tables pop in an instant.

7. Reshape Your Table Numbers
Instead of focusing on creative fonts and colors and all those crazy table-name ideas, change the shape of your table numbers. Fun ideas include birds, flowers, stars, or even festive flags.

8. Hang (a Lot of) Paper Lanterns
Paper lanterns are nothing new, but having more than the usual number of lanterns you see hanging in a reception space (like maybe by 100 times more), makes it a totally different story.
